Features › The group’s conversation, with the study

Group messaging for church small groups

One conversation per small group, alongside the study: messages, prayer requests, photos and files, polls, sign-ups and RSVPs, with reminders and read receipts. No more texts, GroupMe threads and email chains.

Everything in one thread

Messages, prayer requests, photos, polls and announcements live with the study instead of scattered across texts and email. A poll, an RSVP, a sign-up, a topic or a meeting attaches to a message rather than replacing one.

Photos and files

Send up to ten photos at once — they are made smaller on the phone first, so they go quickly even on a weak signal — or attach the handout, the retreat packet or the form. Everything shared lands in the group’s Files list, so nobody scrolls back through weeks of messages looking for last month’s PDF, and searching the conversation finds a file by its name. Files stay with the group: only its people can open them.

Sign-ups, polls and RSVPs

Ask who is coming to the breakfast, who is bringing the salad, or which night suits everyone. People answer in the thread, can change their mind until a leader closes it, and the leader sees the count and who has not answered.

Know who has read it

Under a leader’s message, “Seen by” shows who has read it and who has not, and one button quietly reminds only the people who have not. Pin the address or the change of plan, and the leader is told if anyone still has not read it two days later.

Schedule it for later

Write a message now and send it at a set time, with whatever is attached to it. Meeting reminders go out the day before without anybody having to remember.

Announcement groups for big rooms

For a church-wide or very large group, turn on announcements only. Leaders post and everybody reads. A member’s reply goes privately to the leaders, so one announcement never turns into two hundred replies.
